Notice Regarding Consolidation Of Funds

Notice is hereby given that, effective January 1, 2021, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada Foundation (UOCCF) plans to restructure its Designated/Restricted Funds as follows:

The current Family Funds (Andriy Sirko-Galouchenko Fund, Chewchuk Family Fund, Hyshka Fund, John M. & Elizabeth N. Prokipchuk Fund, and Mykola & Dina Hetmanczuk Family Fund) will be consolidated into the Laity Fund.

The current Hierarchy-Clergy Funds consisting of the Makarenko, Metropolitan Wasyly, Archbishop Stinka, Udod, Wasyliw and Hudyma Funds will be consolidated into the Hierarchy-Clergy Fund.

Any parish or church organization that is a member, in good standing, of the UOCC, may submit a grant application at any time.

Current Programs

The Foundation provides grants in support of programs that further the objectives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada (UOCC), namely to promote the Orthodox Faith and mission work that will lead to growth in membership.

Current programs include but are not limited to: Mission support, Clergy development, and several recent initiatives — Sunday School Enhancement, Parish Revitalization, and Parish Virtual Outreach.
